Etsy Purchases
Lately i've been going a little crazy with the Etsy. I think its the best place to shop! You have vintage, new, handmade, rare, weird, funny, crazy....etc...etc... all in the comfort of your home!!
These are vintage pins, lately i've been obsessed with real life-like objects as jewelry...especially fake foods!
These are from Kawaii Friends Cafe, Made by Terumi Kawasaki in Hawaii! I met her briefly years ago, and then re-met her on instagram and became obsessed with her handmade fake foods! They are so beautiful! The strawberry is a pin and modeled after the gummy strawberries, the donut is a little pocket mirror, the ice cream is a charm. I also bought a burger pin from her!

I saw a fake cigarette necklace on one of my favorite web shops for about $100, I really wanted it, but I figured i'd try to look on Etsy first to see if there were less expensive versions, and of course there was!!!!!!!! So I bought a couple cause they were so cheap! So I bought a brooch, key chain, and earrings...though I disassembled them to use as necklaces instead of a keychain/earrings. I don't smoke and I actually think its gross and disgusting, but the fakeness intrigues me in a weird way...its like trash and it reminds me a lot of Aurel Schmidt's work!
The cigarette brooch is made by Buried Diamond, she also makes other fun things, like this hand pendent. And its very affordable!
I love Etsy and i'm glad it exists!
Plastic Bag
I just sewed up this bag a few weeks ago, I fell in love with the color and texture at the fabric store. It kind of looks like leather, but its vinyl coated cotton, kind of has a sticky texture. I love the vibrant color. I think I will be selling this style in my Etsy shop soon?

Weekend Finds
Over the weekend I went to a thrift store that is near my apartment, its a Polish-church thrift store and most of the stuff in there is crap, but I do occasionally find 1-2 good things, i'm digging!! My motto is, you can always find something at the crappiest thrift store. I was stoked to find this straw hat, for $1! I'm so obsessed with straw hats with the "baseball hat" shape. I swear i've seen something like this on Opening Ceremony for $200+?
I ordered this "No Age" shirt from Ooga Booga. I've been wanting this shirt for many years, and I finally bought it! I love the colors and placement, I think its a good design. And I like the band too! They have a black shirt (with rainbow words) too, I think I need that.
And the other week I was cruising nordstrom.com and was EXCITED to see they have converse platforms! so I kind of went crazy....
